Tenerife Excursions
Explore the island on one of many Tenerife excursions and visit towns, villages and other places that you didn’t even know existed. Mount Teide (dormant volcano) is one of the most popular coach excursions enjoyed by many year after year. Book either a half day or a full day trip and your journey will take you through five climatic zones.
Look at how the scenery changes from the desert like landscape of the south, to the lush greenery of the Canarian pine forests to the lunar like landscape shaped by past volcanic eruptions. When you reach the visitor centre you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat, browse around the souvenir shop, take a cable car to the peak of the volcano, enjoy the spectacular views. Don’t forget your camera!
The Rocks of Garcia is a night time excursion, so if you are looking for a romantic night out, this might be the one. Your journey will take you to El Retamar where you will be able to watch the sunset over the ocean while sipping champagne and enjoy a meal at the El Mirador Restaurant before continuing on to the famous rocks of Garcia where you can gaze up at the sky and map out the stars.
Shopping in Santa Cruz is for everyone who enjoys bargain hunting and haggling. Every Sunday morning the streets of Santa Cruz are bustling with market traders selling their wares. The atmosphere is truly Spanish with music playing, the smell of churros in the air and road side cafés where you can relax with a refreshing drink.
Dolphin and Whale watching is a popular Tenerife excursion enjoyed by many throughout the year. Choose from glass bottom boats, pirate ships and catamarans and experience life on the ocean for a few hours while the dolphins and whales swim along side the boat.
Many of these trips offer refreshments on board and the opportunity to swim in the warm waters before the return journey. Sailing trips leave from the Marina in Puerto Colon or Los Cristianos.
